Scrapbooking Baby

I'm making a scrapbook for my baby, any ideas?

Instead of a regular baby book I'm scrapbooking one for my baby. I need some ideas on what info I need to put in it. What do store bought baby books have in them as far as filling in the blank type questions. Or just any neat ideas would be helpful.

When you purchase scrapbook items remember that the packaging is also safe to use in scrapbooks, acid free etc. So, keep the bubbled out containers like when you buy clips or other bulky 3-D items, you can re-use them by putting bulky items inside of them, like baby's diaper pin or a lock of hair or sock, place the plastic cover over it and viola, you have an instant 3-D pop up on your page…be careful to choose those containers that are shallow…you can cover the edges with edging or rafia or ribbon or cut a frame out of card stock. I've used this technique to display small shells, pebbles and even a small race car…good luck!

our baby book has "This song was num 1 on the charts the day u were born".. hehe.. deep stuff, i know, tell me about it..

but more importantly, even before our daughter was born both of us (ohkay, me) wrote a lot about her.. what gender we thought she'd be.. how we wish she'll grow up happy and healthy.. how we've always wanted her.. how she made all the difference in our lives even by 'existing' at that time.. stuff like that..

    good luck!!

Anything that you think may be too silly is perfect! For my nephew, we recorded all of his firsts! His first time to the beach, I put sand and water in an empty water bottle! Silverware, the first real food they eat. The first time they smell something they like. Anything cute your baby does! When you look back, you'll love the memories! Take pictures and videos if possible! Congratulations to you! Good luck, and have a wonderful evening!
