Babies First Year Scrapbooking Ideas?

I have a 7 month old and alot of pictures, I wanted to put all of her pictures from her first year into one scrapbook album! Right now I have them seperated by month with a little note for each month that describes her development for that month! For each month on her birthday I dressed her up and made her a crown that says how many months old she is and took a picture so I can see how she grew each month! At first I was going to do her album by month, but there are just too many pictures and I don’t think that they will all fit into one book! Any ideas????? I already downsized and I still have about 20 pictures for each month and I can’t bare to part with any more!

My wife is a scrapbooker and did the following for our sons first year…

On the first two page spread, she has made a border of 11 3×3 inch photos around the outside. Each photo is each month of the year. In the middle, is a bigger 12th photo of him at one year old.

The rest of the scrapbook is made up of events - birthday, Christening, halloween, etc.

You can also consider doing a coffee table type book of all the pictures you have (20×12=200+ pictures). Most major online photo developing sites (costco, futureshop, etc) have an option for a picture book. Or, if you wanted to do something a little nicer, you can try something like “blurb” : http://www.blurb.com/

It is not too complicated, and not too expensive. I am going to be doing that for my sons, now that my 2nd has hit 1 year old.

Take the one pic from each month that she is wearing the crown in and then take one picture from all the occasions like birthday, christmas, holloween, easter etc. I did gthat with mine and it fitted nicely.
