Blank baby shower scrapbook page for religious mom?

Wednesday, January 14th, 2009

I have been invited to a baby shower. With the invitation, they gave me a blank scrapbook page to decorate. They gave page ideas such as: recipes, advice on being a new parent, scripture verses, helpful hints, ect.

The mother and people attending are very religous, and I don't want to offend them in whatever I put on this page. I thought a poem about a baby would be nice, but probably wouldn't take up much room. I have the front and back of the page to decorate.

Anyone have any ideas?

A poem is a great idea - you could also cut out pictures of babies and moms, share a story or two about good advice your parents gave you (if you can), song lyrics, whatever you think would be fun for her :)

Best Quality Scrapbooking Baby Kits

Saturday, January 10th, 2009

A great complete kit to get any one started with their scrapbooking baby album comes from K & C Company, they come in both boys and girls kits. These kits can also make a lovely baby shower gift when the gender of the baby is known. They really do come with a lot of great supplies to get you up and going and they are very reasonably priced. backgrounds used for baby scrapbook.?

Friday, January 9th, 2009

are there any websites that has nice baby backgrounds & borders to print out for my scrapbook pages?

I use a software called Scrapbook Flair to create scrapbook of my daughters.

The software is FREE. It has powerful features, and is very easy and fun to use. Most stuff I usually have to buy, such as scrapbook templates, embellishments and backgrounds, are FREE at Scrapbook Flair.

The software web site is at http://www.scrapbookflair.com. Go to their download center. They also have designer collections. Scrapbook Flair is the most fun scrapbook sharing community site on the Internet in my opinion.

Where can I find scrapbooking paper for a wedding?

Friday, January 9th, 2009

My wedding colors where royal blue and baby blue. I would like to find 12×12 paper that would match my colors I also had a bunch of blue roses. So I need something to match color or have roses on it. I don't mind ordering online. Any ideas where I could find this paper?

Thanks

Even though your colors were the 2 shades of blue, I would recommend adding in the base colors of black and white as well. I've seen some nice stuff for weddings at the dollar tree… look not only in the scrapbooking area, but also by the party stuff, they have a wedding section.
http://www.weddingscrapbookingsupplies.com/ this site has a lot of neat stuff.

Baby Shower, Scrapbook page, New Baby Advice?

Tuesday, January 6th, 2009

We are throwing a baby shower for my sister coming up. One of her friends wants us to all make a scrapbook page for the Mother-to-Be. I think it is a great idea, but I don't know where to start. 1) I am much younger and don't have experience with being a mother 2) I don't know what types of things you put on a scrapbook page for a new Mom.

Any Advice or ideas?

Is there new baby advice that I could give to her? If so, what are some ideas?

I would love to hear your thoughts and suggestions!!!!

Thanks!!!
There is 20 of us. We each only get one page and we are going to collaborate it together to make one book.

So I have to make one page, but don't know what to put on it. Pictures, mom to be advice, etc.

Hope this makes sense.

How is she delegating what page you are doing?
I would assume you are making the equivalent of a baby book out of scrap booked pages.
For example: Baby's first day home, Baby's first doctor's visit, First tooth, Baby's room, First birthday.

But if that's what you are doing, you should be choosing ahead of time so as to not have multiple pages for one event.

Talk to her and ask her what a good page for you to do would be. I'm sure she would be happy to help.
